Sherwood, Arkansas – (7 July 2007, Rogers, AR) Grace Stanley, 4, was crowned Arkansas Princess Cover Girl at the National American Miss Pageant held at the Embassy Suites in Rogers, Arkansas. Stanley excitedly ran to her family saying “We’re going to Disneyland! We’re going to Disneyland!” after her crowning. She will travel to Orange County, California in November to participate in the next level of competition - the National All-American Miss Pageant.

Grace, an Arkansas Princess State Finalist, also won first-runner up in the talent competition, the Spirit of America Award, and a modeling portfolio award. She performed two talents – Taekwondo and sang her ABC’s as she signed them in American Sign Language.

The book is due for national distribution in September. An avid traveler as a military dependent, Grace enjoys making new friends at her speaking engagements and singing favorite hymns.

The National American Miss pageants are for “Today’s Girl” and “Tomorrow’s Leaders.” The pageant program is based on inner beauty
as well as poise and presentation, and offers an “All-American spirit of fun for family and friends.” Emphasis is placed on the importance of gaining self-confidence, learning new skills, learning good attitudes about competition and setting and achieving personal goals.
