obituary, Mr. JB is also survived by a brother, Doug Hunt (wife Darlene), and
a sister, Kathleen Lafertty (husband Kelley), both residents of Arkansas.
During the ceremony, Dr. Ronnie Floyd said that there were five points or characteristics
that made up the man: (1) Simplicity, (2) Charisma, (3) Family, (4) Jesus Man, and (5)
Church Man.
The
pastor went on to say that he was an unashamed Jesus Man, meaning that Mr.
Hunt was not afraid to share his belief in God and Christianity. Dr. Floyd then shared a
special story of how Mr. JB brought a man to church one Sunday and after a
period of time that same man joined church and professed his faith and belief in God.
Mr. JB also said at one point in the video that you have to learn to tithe

you are poor because when you get rich, youll give too
much. He was a true American original; and though he is no longer with us as a
mortal being, his profound life and legacy shall provide for his immortality in the hearts
and minds of the many whose lives he impacted by his good and faithful deeds. |

The family of the man who was given so much in life and in turn gave as much during life,
and whose largesse will continue giving well beyond his years here on Earth, requests that
memorials be considered in lieu of flowers and forwarded to the following organizations: Arkansas

Hills (2448 Pinnacle Hills Parkway; Rogers, Ark. 72758); Mission to Haiti

Fund when sending memorials. The family also requests that stories, memories, or
recollections of Mr. Hunt be forwarded to his surviving daughter, Jane Hunt Hardin (38
