TODAY, was a power play day as it was a day
that a small cadre of Northwest Arkansas bankers, business owners and managers, university
officials, public officers including the Honorable Governor Mike Beebe all convened in the
Raymond Miller Hall of Champions dining facility located inside of the Broyles Center
Complex on the University of Arkansas campus. |

Everyone assembled over a quick power lunch to honor, salute and pay tribute
to the powerful economic impact brought on by none other than University of Arkansas
Athletic Director Emeritus, J. Frank Broyles, or Coach as outgoing University
of Arkansas at Fayetteville Chancellor John A. White called him. |

|
The event which was hosted by the Fayetteville Economic Development Council presented the
heroic and legendary athletic director with one more |
|
|
|
|
| positive affirmation of community support and a job well done nod.
Despite massive and often times tumultuous and virulent bouts of on-again off-again soap
opera-esque public relation nightmares spurred by court battles, committed then
uncommitted (players and coaches), irate fans, and downright belligerent department
opponents (and thats the stuff we know publicly, just imagine what went ... |
